About Boermarke

Boermarke is characterized by producing the tastiest (plant-based) dairy alternatives. In addition to the many types of ice cream, custard, yoghurt, mousse, porridge, cottage cheese and fruit products, our company in Twente also makes plant-based cheese, yoghurt and ice cream. Our range contains something for everyone. Boermarke makes, delivers and develops on behalf of you! Flexibility will therefore always be one of our core values.

Bij Boermarke geloven we in eerlijkheid en ambachtelijkheid als de kernwaarden van onze producten. Met trots bieden we plantaardige zuivelalternatieven die worden vervaardigd met zorgvuldig geselecteerde ingrediënten. Daarnaast zijn we vastbesloten om duurzaamheid te bevorderen. We streven naar verantwoorde productiemethoden, waarbij we zorgvuldig omgaan met onze natuurlijke hulpbronnen en de impact op het milieu minimaliseren.

In 1987 was Boermarke de eerste in Nederland die Boerenroomijs maakte van melk van eigen boerderij. Naast verschillende roomijssoorten werd ook de Boermarke mousse van verse boerenmelk al snel super populair. In het begin verkocht Boermarke haar producten vooral aan zuivelboerderijen in heel Nederland. Maar omdat Boermarke alleen natuurlijke ingrediënten gebruikte begonnen ook andere sectors interesse te tonen voor hun producten. Doordat de markt snel veranderd is, is Boermarke daarna ook ingestapt om Plantaardig te produceren. Dit is een baanbrekende keuze geweest, waarin het de successen voor de retail een absolute boost geeft.

Extensive range

Boermarke levert een zeer uitgebreid assortiment, gekoeld en diepgevroren. Ons assortiment omvat een breed scala aan heerlijke plantaardige producten, waaronder kaas, yoghurt en ijs, die voldoen aan de diverse smaakvoorkeuren en voedingsbehoeften van onze klanten. Genieten van ons assortiment, zonder concessies te doen aan kwaliteit of voedingswaarde. Onze flexibiliteit zorgt ervoor dat de mogelijkheden enorm zijn.

Start
Boermarke was the first producer in the Netherlands to prepare ice cream with milk from their own farm. In addition to the various types of ice cream, Boermarke mousse made from fresh farmer's milk quickly became a highly sought-after product. In the early days, Boermarke found its sales area mainly through dairy farms throughout the Netherlands. Partly because Boermarke only processed purely natural raw materials in its products, there was soon interest in these products from the institutional sector.
1996
Location Hengelo
It soon became apparent that the production site in Enschede was too small due to the expansion of fresh products in the range. So in 1999 Boermarke bought a promising building in Hengelo.
2000
New building Enschede
Due to the enormous expansion of recent years, it was decided to move again in 2008 and Boermarke moved to a completely new building in Enschede-west at the end of 2008.
2009
Plant-based
We started making vegetable yoghurts and desserts.
2019
Retail
2019 started with various PL's in ice cream and fresh. Airline, IKEA, MCDonalds and PL ice cream baking.
1987
First award
With her Organic Ice Cream Bertha 1, Boermarke won the ABN-AMRO award during the Tros World Trade show in the World Trade Centre in Amsterdam. This prestigious Export award has been the impetus for Boermarke's sales to Germany. Now anno 2007 “Holländischer Vla “and” Holländischer Eiscreme " is more and more appreciated. Boermarke was also BRC A-level certified in 1996 and the building in Enschede was completely renovated and expanded.
1999
Manchester & Hengelo
From 2000, the entire fresh production of Boermarke took place in Hengelo, while Enschede remained the home port for frozen food production. It was expected that the Boermarke production sites would be merged in Hengelo at the end of 2007.
2008
Abroad
From 2009 further expansion abroad.
2015
Vegan & takeover
The production of vegan takes on Great forms. In addition, we took over the dairy makers in 2019.
